Talentir is transitioning from the custodial magic.link wallet to make the Coinbase Smart Wallet the default option for all users. This change is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance your experience, providing greater interoperability, convenience, and security within the YouTube ecosystem.

Interoperability Across the Ecosystem The Coinbase Smart Wallet allows you to seamlessly log in to multiple Web3 platforms. This interoperability means you can manage your digital assets and interact with various services without the hassle of juggling multiple wallets or accounts.
No Downloads Needed
One of the standout features of the Coinbase Smart Wallet is that it's pre-installed and accessible directly from your browser. There's no need to download additional applications or extensions, making your onboarding process smoother and more straightforward.
Enhanced Security
Security is paramount in the digital world. Unlike custodial wallets that tie your funds to an email address, the Coinbase Smart Wallet uses Passkeys for authentication. This method enhances security by ensuring your funds are protected through a decentralized system, giving you full control over your assets.
What About magic.link?
We understand that some of you may prefer the familiarity of magic.link. Rest assured, you can still log in using your email with magic.link if you choose. Our goal is to provide flexibility while encouraging a shift towards more advanced and secure technologies.
Getting Started with Coinbase Smart Wallet
Transitioning to the Coinbase Smart Wallet is simple:
- Visit Talentir: Go to our website to profit from the new experience.
- Select "Create Wallet": This creates a new Smart Wallet and connects it to Talentir.
- Follow the Setup Instructions: You'll be guided through a quick setup process that utilizes Passkeys for secure access.

Seamless Migration From Your Existing Wallet
Here's how you can transfer each of your channels or videos to your new Coinbase Smart Wallet, so you'll receive your earnings directly into your new wallet:
- Create Smart Wallet Account: Click on Create Wallet on the Talentir Website. Skip adding a YouTube channel and go to the Wallet Tab and copy your Wallet Address.
- Log into Your Existing E-Mail Account: Click on Connect on the Talentir Website and "Sign in With E-Mail Account".
- Select the "Transfer" Option: For each channel or video you wish to migrate, click on the "Transfer" button next to it.
- Confirm the Transfer: Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your new Smart Wallet address and confirm the transfer.
This way your YouTube AdSense earnings and content are securely linked to your new wallet. This takes advantage of the enhanced security and interoperability that the Coinbase Smart Wallet offers.
Access and Manage Your Funds Directly
In addition to using the Coinbase Smart Wallet on the Talentir platform, you can log in directly at wallet.coinbase.com to access and manage your funds.
